A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE AGREEMENT TO DELIVER THE 2013 -2016 GATEWAY
CITIES ENERGY EFFICIENCY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM BETWEEN THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AND SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GAS COMPANY
WHEREAS, on October 7, 2014, the City Council approved an Agreement
to Jointly deliver 2013 -2014 Gateway Cities Energy Leader Partnership Program
between the City and SCE; and
WHEREAS, the Southern California Gas Company (SCG) requires the
City to adopt an agreement to be eligible to receive incentives offered by SCG;
and
WHEREAS, continued participation in the Gateway Cities Energy
Partnership Program will enable the City to receive incentives from implementing
energy savings projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the Agreement to Deliver the
2013 -2016 Gateway Cities Energy Efficiency Partnership Program Between the
City of Lynwood and-Southern California Gas Company.
Section 2. That the City Council authorizes the Mayor to sign the
Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit B.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City
Council Resolution.
