AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE HIGH STREET
'TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN TO INCREASE THE REIMBURSABLE PROJECT COSTS
FOR FRIVATE IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt Ordinance No. 13476 on December 2, 2002,
d claring the Redevelopment Area to be a blighted area and approving the High Street Tax
Increment Financing Plan (the "TIF Plan") and the High Street Redevelopment Project (the
"Project"); and
WHEREAS, the Developer has proposed an amendment (the "Amendment") to the TIF
Plan which will increase the amount of the reimbursement request; and
WHEREAS, the Amendment to the TIF Plan does not substantially affect the general land
uses established in the redevelopment plan; and
WHEREAS, the Amendment to the TIF Plan does not substantially affect the nature of the
redevelopment project; and
WHEREAS, the Amendment to the TIF Plan does not extend the estimated date of
completion of the Project, which remains not more than twenty-three years after the adoption of
® the ordinance approving the Redevelopment Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON
CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the High Street Tax Increment Financing Plan, adopted on December 2,
2002, by City Council Ordinance No. 13416, is hereby amended to increase the reimbursable
project costs for private improvements by $60,000, for a total of $160,000, to allow for an increase
in construction costs and professional fees.
Section 2. The City Budget is hereby amended as set forth in Exhibit A.•2 by supplementary
appropriation of the funds therein described and by adding the entries and accounts shown.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
