RESOLUTION TO REJECT BIDS FOR PUBLIC SAFETY AND
EMERGENCY SERVICES RADIOS AND AUTHORIZING REBIDD1NG
OF THE PROJECT
WHEREAS, on May 7, 1998 the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret
received bids for public safety and emergency services radios; and
WHEREAS, prospective Bidders have indicated that the bid specifications were
unclear; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret have determined
that it is in the best interest of the Borough to reject all bids and rebid the project.
NOW, THEREFORE BE 1T RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that all bids in connection with the public safety and
emergency services radios be and are hereby rejected.
BE, 1T FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Agent be authorized to revise
the bid specifications for public safety and emergency services radios and rebid the
project.
Adopted this 21st day of May, 1998
and certified as a true copy of the
original on May 22, 1998.
