ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE OF'THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING CHAPTER 33
(THE SUBDIVISION CODE), ARTICLE I (GENERALLY), SECTION 33-9
(CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS) OF THE CODE PERTAINING 1-0 SIDEWALK
CONSTRUCTION, GRADING OF ROAD BEDS, AND INSTALLATION OF DISABLED
RAMPS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . Chapter 33, Section 33-2 (Definitions) of the Code of the City of
Jefferson is hereby amended as follows:

of the City of Jefferson is hereby amended as follows:

Section 3. Chapter 33, Section 11 A (Streets and alleys; rights-of-way, design) of
the Code of the City of Jefferson is hereby amended by adding a new subsection as
follows:
10. All street cross sections with the exec►lion o1'alleys shall contain a sidewwalk/utility corridor.

The corridor shall be it minirnani n,lrlth of 111 feet located directly behind file back of curb on
both sides of the street. The corridor grade shall he no greater than 21%4. The corridor is
considered part of the street cross secflon stood shall be placed to grade with construction of the
street.
_Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
