ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELINQUISHING A
CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES FOR 2300 ST. MARY'S
BOULEVARD.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, by an easement recorded in Book 274, Page 445, of the Records of the Colo
County, Missouri, a sewer easement was granted to the City of Jefferson, a
Municipal Corporation, to excavate within, install, construct, maintain and
repair, structures for the routing and conveyance of sewer in, under and
through the lots, tracts or parcels of land described in Section 1 ;
Section 1 . The Council finds that the following described easement is surplus
property of the City and is no longer needed for any public purpose:

County Recorder's Office, and being situated in the Northwest Quartet, of the Northeast
Quarter of Section I 1,Township,44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
the centorline of the 20 toot wide easomont to be vacated is more particularly described as
follows:
From the northwest cortior of the Northeast Quarter ofnaid Section 11; thence S05"28'09"E,
along the Quarter Section Line, 586. 10 foot to the southerly lino of U.S. Houle 50; thence
northeasterly along said southerly line of U.S, Route 50, on a curve to the right, having a
radius of 2699.95 foot, a distance of 86.0 feet; thence dollocting 85 00'00" right, 12.52 feet;
thence deflecting 26"30'00" left, 125.98 feel; thonco deflecting 47' 50'23" left, 5.00 feet to the
POINT OF BEGINNING for the centerline of said 20 tool wide, emseniont to be vacated:
thence continuing along tho last described COLUS0, 234.09 feet to tho POINT OF
TERMINATION,
Section 2. The easement doscribod in Soction 1 is hereby relinquished, and the
City does hereby release and abandon whatewor intore-sA it has in the easement.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk rare hereby authorized to execute any
necessary legal document relinquishing all of the City's interest in the tract of ground
described in Section 1,
