AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING SECTION 7-321 OF
THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI REGARDING MEMBERS OF THE
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY BOARD.
BE IT ENACTED BYTHE COUNCIL.OF THE CITY OFJEFFERSON, MISSOURI,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 7 (Boards and Commissions), of the Code of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri shall be amended to add a new article as follows:

A. 'rhe Economic Development Advisory Board shall consist of nine 9 numbers.a1 least six
�.of whom shall be residents of the city.
B. The mayor shall, with the approval and consent of a ma.iority of the members of the city
council,appoint nine 9 members ofthe Economic Development Advisory Board,Bvc S)ol'whont shall serve
two(2)year initial terms and four 4 of whom shall serve three(3)year initial terms. Thereafter,all members
will serve three(3)year terms. Any vacancies in the economic development advisory board shall be filled by
appointment and approval in like manner for the unexpired portion of the term. All members shall continue to
serve until their successors shall have been appointed and qualified.
Section 2 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
