AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH VARIOUS VENDORS
FOR UPGRADE OF COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH AND RECORDS MANAGEMENT
SOFTWARE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
an agreement with Various Vendors for Upgrade of Computer Aided Dispatch and Records
Management Software.
Section 2. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as
that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.

Subject: Upgrade of Computer Aided Dispat cl records Management Software
Date: November 13, 2003
The Police Department is requesting funds. in the amount of` 202,790.00 he expended
from Sales 'fax D to upgrade and expand our Computer Aided Dispatch and Records
Management software.
1-ITC supplies the software that is u scd to dispatch police, fire. and sheriff's office
personnel, maintain the crimes management system, and maintain the fire reporting system.
HTE, IWS, and Looking Class are the only providers able to guarantee integration with
existing software. We are requesting that these three con►panies be considered as sole source
providers for the products listed on the attached bill s►nnnitiry.
