AN ORDINANCE_ OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CERTAIN
PROPERTY SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE OF A TRACT OF LAND TO
UNION ELECTRIC COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri conveyed 35.01 acre tract to the City of.Jefferson; and,
WHEREAS, the City is conveying 1.51 acre tract to the Union Electric Company; and,
WHEREAS, it has further been shown that it would not inconvenience the public or the
citizens of the City to convey the 1.51 acre tract to Union Electric Company
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri. hereby declares it
necessary, reasonable and proper to convey 1 .51 acre tract of land as described below to
Union Electric Company:
PART OF LOT 4 OF A PLAT OF SUBDIVISION, EWING FARM AS PER
PLAT OF RECORD IN PLAT BOOK 1 , PAGE 69, COLE COUNTY
RECORDER'S OFFICE, BEING SITUATED IN U.S. PRIVATE SURVEY NO.
2616, TOWNSHIP 44 NORTH, RANGE 10 WEST, COLE COUNTY,
MISSOURI, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
FROM THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE NORTHEAST FRACTIONAL
QUARTER OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 44 NORTH, RANGE 10 WEST;
THENCE S2 22'44"W, ALONG THE QUARTER SECTION LINE, 2308.69
FEET; THENCE S88 14'34"W, ON A DIRECT LINE, 3033.71 FEET TO THE
POINT OF BEGINNING FOR THIS DESCRIPTION; THENCE S1 45'26"E,
250.00 FEET; THENCE S88 14'34"W, 250.00 FEET; THENCE N7 50'42"W,
251 .42 FEET; THENCE N88 14'34"E, 276.66 FEET TO THE POINT OF
BEGINNING, Containing 1.51 acres.
Section 2, The Mayor and the Clerk of the City are hereby authorized to execute a
quit claim deed to the above property as described in Section 'I of this ordinance.

passage.
