AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE SALARIES OF
ELECTED OFFICIALS BY CHANGING THE SALARY FOR THE POSITION OF CITY PROSECUTING
ATTORNEY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance '12899 of the laity of Jefferson, Missouri, fixing the salaries
of the Municipal Judge and City Prosecuting Attorney is hereby repealed and a new Section 1 enacted
in lieu thereof, to read as follows:
Section 1. The Municipal Court Judge shall receive the sum of$1,250 per
month as salary, effective April 7, 1999. The City Prosecuting Attorney shall
receive the sum of $2,083.33 per month as salarry►, effective April 8, 2003.
Section 2. There is hereby supplementaliy appropriated c)7,536 from the Surplus Fund (Acct.
No. 1000-0000-0995-99991, to the Salary-Elected Officials Fund (Acct. No. 1000-1600-1010-0010,
$7,000) and Social Security Fund (Acct. No. 1000-1600-1030-0000, $536), as indicated on Exhibit A,
attached hereto.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage
and approval subject to the effective dates reflected in Section 1.
