HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD13540 RILL NO. 2003-10 SPONSORED BY COUNCILMEN .­ Vogel Smith ORDINANCE NO / 3 11-5 rP AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST THE LOTS AND TRACTS OF LAND FRONTING AND ABUTTING 100, 200, 300 BLOCKS OF E. HIGH & 200 BLOCK OF MADISON STREET IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF SAID SIDEWALK. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1_ There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this ordinance, against the aggregate lots of tracts of land fronting and abutting 100, 200, 300 blocks of E. High & 200 block of Madison Street in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the Improvement of said sidewalk, the sum of $21,124.50 as the total assessable; costs of the improvement of said sidewalk amounting to 456.10 front feet; the cost price per front foot is $45.00 per front foot of property abutting the improvement + $600.00 for corner lot. Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said sidewalk, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of$45.00 as a special tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting said sidewalk, and contained in such lot or piece of ground fronting and abutting said improved sidewalk. Section 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the description of each lot or piece of ground fronting and abutting on each side of said sidewalk and the number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land so owned and abutting each side of said sidewalk and the number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land so owned and abutting said sidewalk and the cost price per foot for said improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed as special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said sidewalk is listed as follows: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (1) OWNER: CLYDE P.
