ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELINQUISi-•IING A
CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES OF A PART OF LOT NO. 23,
OF PARKVIEW MEADOWS, SECTION TWO.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, by an easement recorded in Book 12, Page 278, of the Records of the Cole
County, Missouri, ft sewer easement was granted to the City of Jefferson, a
Municipal Corporintion, to excavate within, install, construct, maintain and
repair structures for the routing and conveyance of sewer in, under and
through tho lots, tracts or parcels of land described in Section 1 ;
SectbrL 1. The Council finds that the following described easement is surplus
property of the City and is no longer needed for any public purpose:
Part of a fifteen (15) loot wide san,la,, sowor easement across a part of Lot No, 21, of
Parkview Meadows, Soction'rwo,as per plat of record in Plat Book 12,Page 278,of the Colo
County Recorder'-, Office, the contorlino of said fifteen (15) loot wide easement being more
particularly described as follows:
From the nor-thwost cornor of said Lot No. 23; thence 1\184"38'49"E, along the north line of
said Lot No. 23, 100.00 foot to the POINT OF BEGINNING for this centerline doscription:
thence leaving said north title onin bearing of S05"211 VE, 136.49 feet to the POINT OF
TERMINATION of this contorlino description.
ALSO, a fifteen(15) loot wide sanitary sewor easornent across a part of Lot Nos. 25 and 26,
of Parkview Meadows, Section Two, as per plat of record in Plat Book 12, Page 278, of the
Cole County Rocordor's Office, Me conlorline of said fifteen (15) foot wide onsonient being
more particularly doscribodas follows:
From the southwest corner of said Lot No. 25,also being the northwest corner of said Lot No.
26;thence,N84"38'49"E,along the cornnion line bolwoon said Lot Nos.25,and 26, 92.50 loot
to the POINT OF BEGINNING for this contorlino description;thenco continuing N84('38'49"E,
along said common lino, 162,03 feet, to the southeast corner of said Lot No. 25, and the
POINT OF TERMINATION for this contorlino description.
ALSO, a thirty(30)foot wido sanitary and storm drainage oasoniont,:icross a part of 1,of No $,
26 and 27, of Parkview Moadows, Soction Two, as per plat of record in Plat Book 12, Page
278,of the Colo County Rocorcloi's Office,said thirty(30)foot wide easernent laying fen('f 0)

EXCEPTING therefrom, any overlaps that may occur or be present duo to the dodicatioll of
subsequent easements or rights-of-way by virtue of replat and further subdivision.
ao�. The easement described in Section 1 is hereby relinquished, and the
City does hereby release and abandon whatever Interest it has In the easement.
$9jgQ". The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any
necessary legal document relinquishing all of the City's Interest in the tract of ground
described in Section 1 .

of its passage and approval.
