ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE CODE
PERTAINING TO REORGANIZATION — MERGING THE DEPARTMENTS OF
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND TRANSPORTATION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, THAT
THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON BE AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:
5ection 1. Chapter 2 (Administration), Article IX (Transportation Department) of the
Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri is hereby repealed in its entirety.
Section2. Chapter 2 (Administration), Article VIII (Community Development),
Section 2-320, (Director, division, etc.), of the Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri is
hereby amended as follows:

Sec.34-83. Issuance or denial.
After having given all persons appearing at the hcariiw required by section 34-92 ;ul opportunity to he
heard,the Director of-f=�Wiml Community Developiuenl shall issue its recommendation. in writing,as to
whether the cei-tilicale ofconvenience and necessity requcstcd by the applicant should he granted ordellied. The
director may issue such decision at the close ol'the hearing or tale the scaler under advisement for a period of not
