ORDINANCE NO,
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING AN
AMENDED AGREEMENT WITH THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY
FOR A NARCOTICS CONTROL ASSISTANCE ("MUSTANG") PROGRAM GRANT AND
AUTHORIZING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS,AMENDING THE 2001-
2002 ANNUAL BUDGET WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor, City Clerk, City Administrator and Police Chief are hereby
authorized to enter an agreement with the Missouri Department of Public Safety to
participate in the Narcotics Control Assistance ("MUSTANG") program through June 30,
2003.
Section 2. There is hereby supplernentally appropriated within the General Fund
to the Jefferson City Police Department Budget Account the net amount of$289,349.00 as
outlined in Exhibit A attached hereto, for a Missouri Department of Public Safety narcotics
enforcement grant.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
