Home My Public Portal Aboutr 20-106lknolufion of the jgoroqh of Tarterd, C N� 4, No. 420 -106 Date of Adoptio July 23, 202 AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR ACCOUNTING SERVICES WITH LERCH, VINCI & HIGGINS, LLP WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized accounting/auditing services with regard to salary negotiations and/or arbitration with FMBA Local 67; and WHEREAS, Lerch, Vinci & lIiggins, LLP, 17 -17 Route 208, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410, possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and WHEREAS, Lerch, Vinci & Higgins, LLP has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a total cost not to exceed $10,000.00; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for said purpose. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows: 1. The proposal from Lerch, Vinci & Higgins, LLP, for accounting/auditing services with regard to salary negotiations and/or arbitration with FMBA Local 67 at a. total cost not to exceed $10,000.00 is hereby approved. 2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11- S(l)(a)in accordance with the Borough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by law. 3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing Department and Lerch, Vinci & Higgins, LLP.
