ORDINANCE NO. 13417
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING SECTION
19-401, (STREETS AND HIGHWAYS), SCHEDULE (U), (SCHOOL BUS LOADING
ZONES), SUBPARAGRAPH (A), OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
PERTAINING TO A PORTION OF LEWIS & CLARK DRIVE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1, Section 19-401, (Streets and Highways), Schedule U, (School Bus
Loading Zones), Subparagraph (a), of the Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby
amended by the deletion of a portion of Lewis & Clark Drive, and the addition of a new
portion of Lewis & Clark Drive in lieu thereof, as follows:

intersection with Eastland Drive for a distance of 7811 feet northwest,between 7:00 a.m.R 8:30 a.m,and
between 2:00 p.m.& 3:30 p.m. when school is in session.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.

"Phis a request to change the parking in front of Lewis & Clark School. Currently, there
is no parking on the north side of the road and bus parking only on the south side of the
road in front or the school.
I would like to change the parking on the south side of the road of Lewis & Clark Drive
from the 600 block of Eastland Drive to the northwest corner of Lewis & Clark School to
a timed parking. (See allached map.) Change the ordinance to "hlo Parking, Bus Only,
from 0700-0830 in morning and 1400-1530 in the afternoon. "I'his will allow use of
parking during school hours for visitors.
® I have already spoken with John Rodemann, Director of"Trans ortation/1-leal h and
Safety for the Jefferson City School District, and Principle Dr. Bob Steffes of'Lewis &
Clark Middle School. 'nccy both agree with the parking change.
