Matters Not Reasonably Anticipated by the Chair No discussion . Next Meetings : February 8, 101 16 221 and 24, 2021 Executive Sessions To consider the purchase; exchange, lease or value of real property if the chair declares that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the public body . Chair Chaffee stated that the Board would be going into executive session to discuss strategy with respect to consider the purchase, exchange, taking, lease, or value of real property if such discussion may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the governmental body, and would not be returning to open session , Selectperson Bingham moved that the Board go into executive session at 9 : 03am to consider the purchase, exchange, taking, lease, or value of *real property if such discussion may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the governmental body, and would not be returning to open session . The Board vote was S -yes, 0- No and every party present declared that no other person is present and/or able to hear the discussion at the remote location , Town Counsel Shirin . Everett discussed the finding of the title search . The properties at 500 Besse Cartway and 3705 Main Street are subject to access and utility easements for select neighboring properties . Ms . Everett discussed the difference between Registered and Recorded land . The access easement granted for the Main Street property for beach use would not prohibit the Town opening of the beach to the public , A private developer could subdivide this property, but it would be a lengthy process . This property has a good title and a number of encumbrances that do not interfere with the Town' s intention of the property . There is a reserved relocation on. the right of easements which is beneficial . The parcel labeled 0 next to the property needs to be further discovered and further research on the Arts building will be discussed with Town staff, A recent mortgage has been taken out on the properties . Mark Rensteira is now under contract with KP Law to perform the property appraisals . This should be submitted to the Select Board by March 15 , 2021 . Future meeting dates were discussed .
