AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,AMENDING,AND
MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY
REZONING 0.36 ACRES LOCATED AT 2007 SOUTHRIDGE DRIVE, LOCATED IN SECTION
23, TOWNSHIP 44 NORTH, RANGE 12 WEST, COLE COUNTY, MISSOURI FROM RS-2
RESIDENTIAL TO C-1 NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL,
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN THE ZONING CODE
RELATING TO ZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described real estate is rezoned from RS-2 Residential to C-1
Neighborhood Commercial:
Part of the Southeast quartet,of the northeast quarter of Section 23, Township 44
North, Range 12, described as follows: From the southeast corner of the
northeast quarter of said Section 23, run thence along the section line 2079.5
links; thence west parallel to the north line of said section, 187.6 feet to the
southerly right of way line of Cole County Route "C"; thence southwesterly along
said right of way line, 130 feet TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence
continuing along said right of way line 103.4 feet; thence South 2 degrees 11
minutes east, *146.6 feet; thence North 81degrees, 40 minutes east, 101.1 feet:
thence northwardly 162.7 feet to POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing 0.36 acres.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval,

We DO NOT wish this property to be turned into "rental unit for light commercial and office uses". With
Central Bank, TCI, Day Care and the offices now occupying what was formally Nick's Homestead - traffic
In our residential area has become an issue. People are parking in front of the homes on Southridge,
