ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SECTION 5311 CAPITAL ASSISTANCE
GRANT AGREEMENT NO. MO-18-X021 WITH THE MISSOURI HIGHWAY AND
TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO BUSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
Section 5311 Capital Assistance Grant Agreement No. MO-18-X021 with the Missouri
Highway and Transportation Commission for the purchase of two (2) buses.
Section 2. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as
that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3, This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.

Dear Mr. Hood:
Please find enclosed three copies of an agreement between your organization and the Missouri
Highways and Transportation Commission under the Section 5311 Capital Assistance Grant
Program of Title 49, United States Code (MO-18-X021). This agreement provides for federal
funds in the amount of$138,172.00 for the following items:
