FOR CLEANING AND SEALING EXTERIOR MASONRY AND WOODEN BENCHES AND TRASH RECEPTACLES AT WHITECOTTON BUILDING. WHEREAS, Omni Construction Services, Inc. has become the apparent lowest and best bidder on the Clean and Seal Exterior Masonry and Wooden Benches and Trash Receptacles at Whitecotton Building project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The bid of Omni Construction Services, Inc. is declared to be the lowest and best bid and is hereby accepted. Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Omni Construction Services, Inc. for Cleaning and Sealing Exterior Masonry and Wooden Benches and Trash Receptacles at Whitecotton Building. Section 3. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A. Section 4. MEMORANDUM To: Mayor Rackers City Council Members From: Mike Struttman, Interim Police Chief Date: August 13, 2002 Re: Bid 2010 - Clean & Seal Exterior Masonry, Trash Receptacles and Benches Four bidders responded to the City's request for bids for the above referenced work. Omni Construction Services of Jefferson City, Missouri submitted the low bid for the work in the amount of$12,917.00. Terry Stephenson, Purchasing Agent reviewed the requirements of the specifications with the bidder and talked to each of the references listed in the bid response. All of the individuals contacted provided a positive assessment of the capabilities of the firm, the quality of their work and timeliness of project completion. It is staffs recommendation to award the bid and establish a contract with Omni Construction Services, Inc. or Jefferson City, Missouri in the amount of$12,917.00 to complete the work as specified and bid.
