AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY FOR A
LOCAL GOVERNMENT SCHOOL DISTRICT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM GRANT AND
AUTHORIZING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS, AMENDING THE 2000-
2001 ANNUAL BUDGET WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CI'T'Y OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The Mayor, City Clerk, and City Administrator are hereby authorized
to enter an agreement with the Missouri Department of Public Safety to participate in said
grant program from September 1 , 2002 to May 31 , 2003.
Section 2. There is hereby supplemental appropriated with in the General Fund
to the Jefferson City Police Department Budget Account the net amount $156,169 as
outlined in Exhibit 1 attached hereto, for a Missouri Department of Public Safety School
Resource Officer grant.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.

Pursuant to Article VII, Section 7.1(5.) of the Charter of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, I hereby
