AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,AMENDING CHAPTER 7 OF THE
CODE PERTAINING TO BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 7(Boarder and Commissions),Article X!(USS Jefferson City Subm rin
Committee), Section 7-291 (Members; Terms; Appointment: Officers), Subparagraph (A) of the
Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended to read as follows:

A. The USs ,fel7ceson City submarine committee shall consist of five (5)
members and up to Iwo(2)ex-offlclo,non-woling members.01'Ihc fire menibeis:
I. One shall be a city council member.
2. 'Three shall be citizens of the city,at least one of ithont has who-havr served in
the Navy. Marines,COIN 011111.1 or Merchant Marines.
3. One shall be a member of'tile Mid-Missouri Navy League to be designated by the
Mid-Missouri Navy League.
4. Up to two ex-officio, non-voting members may be appointed if they are it
parent,step-parent, or sibling of it member of the crew of the USS Jefferson
City Submarine. A residency requirement shall not apply to the ex-officio
members.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
