BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section I. Chapter 22 (PARKING, STANDING. AND STOPPIN(j) ofthe Code of the City ol',IelTer•son is hereby amended tolread as 1611ows: Sec.22-2/ Loading zones. 1� A. Definitions: As used is this section and Scl►edule S: I. Authorized vehicle. A commercial vehicle,delivery truck,or delivery vehicle as defined by this section. 2. Com►►►ercial vehicle. !-;very vehicle designed, maintainer!, or used primarily fur carrying; freight or merchandise which hears the name of the owner or business prominently and permanently displayed ou the side thereof. 3. Delivery truck. A vehicle primarily used to pick up or deliver goods, mires,or merchandise,which bears the came of the owner or business prominently and pernurncnlly displayed on the side thereof. a. Delivery vehicle. A vehicle that prominently displays the name of the owner or bushress on a sign temporarily affixed to the vehicle,which sign is in place and is in the process of delivering goods, wares, or merchrurdise in its ordinary course of business to Ilse a loading; zone under this section. This sign must measure at least six (C►) inches in heig lil and 1 '/: feel in length, and must be clearly readable and distinguishable ti•ot►r it minimum distance of twenty-five feet away. IS.
