AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT ##1 TO THE PUBLIC TRANSIT
CAPITAL ASSISTANCE GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION, PROJECT 11MO-18-X021, FORTHE PURCHASE OFONE BUS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
Amendment #1 to the Public Transit Capital Grant Assistance Grant Agreement with the
Missouri Department of Transportation, Project ##MO-18-X021.
Section 2. The amendment shall be substantially the same in form and content
as that amendment attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.

AMENDMENT NO. 1
WHEREAS, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission and the City of
Jefferson entered into an Agreement dated September 11, 2002, to fund a public transportation
project pursuant to Chapter 53 (531 l) of Title 49, United States Code.
NOW THEREFORE, said Agreement is hereby amended as follows:
I. Paragraph 1, Section D, is amended to increase the federal share reimbursement to
grantee for capital expenditures to an amount not to exceed $207,256.80;
2. The Agreement between the parties hereto dated September H, 2002, shall remain in
frill force and effect except as amended hereby.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have entered into this agreement on the date last
written below.
