AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,AMENDING SECTION 29-143
(BASIS FOR COMPUTATION), SUBPARAGRAPHS (A) AND (B), OF THE CODE OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, PERTAINING TO THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF SEWER CHARGE
ADJUSTMENTS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 29-143 (Basis for computation), Subparagraphs (A) and (B), of the
Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, are hereby amended, to read as follows:
Sec. 29-143. Basis for computation.
A. Selver service charges for residential establishments having an average monthly water
consumption for the months of January,February and March ofone thousand five hundred(1,500)cubic
feet or less shall be billed monthly For the twelve-nwnth period beginning in Apriil JUNE ofeach year
on the basis of said average monthly water consumption for the immediately preceding months of
January, February and March.
® 13. Sewer service charges for all residential establishments having an average monthly water
consumption for the months of January. February and March of more than one thousand five hundred
(1,500) cubic feet and sewer service charges for all commercial or industrial establishments and
governmental establishments shall be hilted monthly for the twelve-month period beginning in Aqnii
JUNE ofeach yearon the basis of actual quantity of monthly water consumption ofsuch establishments.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
