PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION AND REFUND
WHEREAS, Block 4005, lot 9 applied for a tax exemption under the provisions for a
total disabled veteran status in accordance with N.J.S.A. 54:4.3.30 et seq, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor has reviewed and approved the application effective
3/25120, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector is recommending that the following taxes be cancelled
accordingly:
2020 $6,054.75
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the Tax Collector cancel taxes as set
forth above and refund the overpayment in the amount of $1,992.04.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on August 7, 2020.
