AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO A REVISED SUPPLEMENTAL GRANT
AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON PARKS AND RECREATION
COMMISSION WITH THE MISSOURI HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORTATION
COMMISSION FOR PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE FACILITIES AS A PART OF THE
JEFFERSON CITY GREENWAY SYSTEM.
WHEREAS,The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has approved
Project No. STP-3111(505) under the STP-Urban Program; and
WHEREAS, This project is located within the municipal limits of the City of
Jefferson.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a revised
supplemental grant agreement on behalf of the City of Jefferson Parks and Recreation
Commission with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission extending until
June 30, 2002 the deadline for completion of plans, specifications and cost estimates; and
increasing federal funding from $340,435 to$544,244 for pedestrian bicycle facilities along
the East Branch of Wears Creek, relating to Project No. STP-3111(505).
Section 2. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as
the agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.

Dear Mr. Lockwood:
This letter is in reference to your Enhancement Project Nu. STP-3111 (506) and STP-3111
(505) in Jefferson City.
Enclosed are supplemental agreements for each enhancement agreenicilts. The supplemental
agreement #3 for STP-31 l 1 (506) decreases the federal funding from $403,809 to $200,000 with
20% match frorn the City of Jefferson. Supplemental agreement #2 tcrr su)-31 11 (505)
increases the federal funding front $340,435 to $544,244 with a 310/) match from the City of,
Jefferson. You have been granted an extension of time f i r Project 1 1 1 1 1 (505) until June 30,
2002. Enclosed are seven (7) copies of our Standard Supplemental Agreement for each protect.
Please sign and seal seven (7) copies of the agreements and return them to this office for further
handling. We will return (2) fully executed copies to you.
