Tri-Star/Chariton Valley has advised us that there is not any possibility of sonleone reusing them as radio consoles because of the availability of parts. I'he only value is the ® scrap metal of the cabinets. 1 Because of the Chariton Valley recommenditioil and lack of storage space, I have made contacts regarding the removal of the consoles. Sera/) All Rec,velhig, FIolts Summit, stated they would accept the old consoles but would not pick them. Max Harmon, Columbia, employee of Towner Coninn►nications, stated lie would renlove the consoles and haul theni off for scrap. Keith Mueller, Jefferson City, stated he would remove the consoles and haul them off for scrap. None of the three contacts offered us any nioney for the consoles. Scrap All Recycling advised they pay $1 7.00/ton for the scrap metal delivered. 'fliere is not much value in the c,,►binets. I ani requesting; that consoles be declared surplus allowing for the quick removal and disposal. Let me know if you have any questions.
