ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF SMITH PLACE ADDITION NO. FOUR, A SUBDIVISION
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON.
WHEREAS, Marjorie L. Dix. Tom and Jeannette Smith, and Charles and Alice Smith
owners of the real estate hereinafter described, having submitted to the City Council a plat
of said real estate, being located in Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri, and more
particularly described as follows:
Part of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter and part of the Northwest
Fractional Quarter of Section 3, Township 44 North, Flange 12 West, in the City
of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
From the southeast corner of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of said
Section 3; thence NO3 052'04"W, along the Quarter Quarter Section Line,
2545.83 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing along the
Quarter Quarter Section line, NO3°52'04"W, 343.89 feet to a point on the
southerly line of an 80.0 foot wide street right-of-way known as WEST
TRUMAN BOULEVARD; thence westerly, along the southerly line of said right-
of-way, on a curve to the left, having a radius of 914.92 feet, an arc distance of
® 130.66 feet, (Chord: S58°23'04"W, 130.55 feet); thence S54'1 7'36"W, along
the southerly line of said right-of-way, 201.87 feet to the most northerly corner
of Lot 2 of SMITH PLACE ADDITION #1, as recorded in Plat Book 11, page
721, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence S35°42'24"E, along the easterly
line of said Lot 2 of SMITH PLACE ADDITION #1, 225.00 feet to the
southeasterly corner thereof; thence N81°11'55"E, 168.96 feet to the point of
beginning. Containing 67,446.75 square feet or 1.55 acres.
WHEREAS, it appearing that said plat has been fully and properly signed and
accepted by the owners of said subdivision, known and referred to as the Plat of Smith Place
Addition No. Four, that all taxes have been paid, and that in all respects the requirements of
Chapter 445, RSMo, entitled "Plats" have been fully complied with by the owners of said
subdivision, and that in all respects the requirements of the Planning and Zoning Commission
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plats and subdivisions have been complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The plat of Smith Place Addition No. Four, lying, being and situated
within the corporate limits of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as shown by the said plat
attached hereto and made a part of this ordinance, is hereby approved and accepted by the
City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to endorse
acceptance of said plat hereon and to certify the approval of said plat under the seal of the
City of Jefferson,
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval.
