AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO THE 5311 PUBLIC
TRANSIT CAPITAL OPERATING ASSISTANCE GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE
MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE
BUS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
Amendment No. 4 to the 5311 Public 'Transit Capital Operating Assistance Grant
Agreement with the Missouri Department of Transportation for the purchase of one bus.
Section 2. The Amendment shall be substantially the sarne in form and content
as that Amendment attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.

AMENDMENT NO. 4
WHEREAS, the Missouri I-Iighways and Transportation Commission and the City of
Jefferson entered into an Agreement dated April 20, 2000, to fund a public transportation project
pursuant to Chapter 53 (531 1) of'Titic 49, United States Code.
NOW THEREFORE, said Agreement is hereby amended as follows:
I. Paragraph 1, Section I), is amended to increase the federal share reimbursement to
grantee fiv capital expendltUres to an amount not to exceed $122,992.00
2. The Agreement between the parties hereto dated April 20, 2000, shall remain in fia11
lorcc and effect except as amended hereby.
