CONTRACT FOR RE PAIR & REPLACEMENT OF LIGHT POLES ON THE CARTERET FISHING PIER AT WATERFRONT PARK WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret has a need for specialized services with regard to the repair and replacement of light poles on the Carteret Fishing Pier at Waterfront Park as a fair and open contract pursuant to the provisions of N.J. S.A. 19:44A -20.5 et seq; and WHEREAS, the Borough has, through a "fan• and open" process, solicited quotes for the receipt of proposals; and WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret retained the services of Quality Electric Constriction, Co.; and WHEREAS, the above mentioned vendor completed and submitted all required documentation; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret authorizes the Finance Department on behalf of the Mayor and Borough Council to issue and execute a purchase order for the foregoing to the above vendor through the Fair and Open Process, with funds certified available by the Chief Financial Officer; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the CFO has been authorized to arrange to pay for the foregoing in accordance with the terms of the purchase order not to exceed $13,275.00.
