Sec.22-27.Loading zones.
A. Any person desiring,a loading zone on the roadways in the city shall file a written
application with the department of public works en-a-terrine-b
pP P P e-p �-by-that-c�epa��trrrerrt. 'The x Y ,�„���y::;'•,r
application will be on a form provided b the department of public works and shall be

accompanied by a filing fee. The director of public works shall review the application and if
approved . n, an appropriate ordinance shall be drafted and :' `^` �?..•.':
,�,,? • forwarded to the city council for their action. Applicants shall be notified in writing of the action

of the city council. When accepted,the filing fee will be applied to the annual fee for the loadingZr;'
zone that is due within fifteen (15) days of the date of the notice of the city council's action. If , :yw{it?q�tr rr;
the director denies the application, the applicant may, within fifteen (15) days, file a request for `���;�� °° ��:�t; •r'
review with the transportation and traffic commission.

B. The annual fee for a loading zone shall be three dollars '�a'��'•t)�'�F''�x,�'
and fifty cents($3.50)per foot per year. A loading zone shall"rmftl4y be established for a period
' of one year,which shall coincide with the calendar year. The annual fee for a loading zone shall be

paid in advance on or before December IS for the following ear. The fee for a loading
established after January 1 of any year may shall be prorated on a quarterly basis.
C. All loading cones in the city shall be subject to the following regulations: t}� w'•:�x'.
1. Loading zones shall only be used by commercial vehicles and delivery
trucks.
2. Any person applying for a loading zone may request the zone have
a designated amount of parking time up to a two(2)hour maximum. >>
