economic development expenditures including the specific use of the City's contribution on a
monthly basis. The Chamber shall also submit quarterly report to the City and make itself available '

7. Books and Records. Chamber shall keep its books and records open for inspection at

8. Establishment of Special Fund.The city agrees to establish a special fund for economic ,development purposes with an initial appropriation of One Hundred Twenty Five Thousand Dollars r �3r

improvements related to economic development projects and to provide funds for necessary ;?y�C' w` , !

CITY OF JEFFERSON
AMENDMENT TO EXTENSION OF CONTRACT FOR
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PARTNERSHIPS 2000 PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson and the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce entered into an agreement
on December 5, 2000, and amended October 17, 2001, October 23, 2002, and September 17, 2003; and,
WHEREAS,the parties have amended said agreement from time to time to extend the term of the agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the agreement add additional term,
_ NOW THEREFORE, in exchange for the mutual-promises-exchanged.herein and-for-other-good-and-valuable—-
consideration,

consideration, the parties hereby to amend the existing contact by adding the following:
1. The parties hereby agree to amend paragraph 3, entitled, "Term"to read as follows:
3. Term
The term of this agreement shall be extended for a period of six months,commencing November 1,
2006 and ending on April 30, 2007, which extension is subject to annual appropriation according
to law.
