CODE BY DELETING SUBSECTION 29.123 (A) PRESCRIBING AND FIXING RATES

THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI.

WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson has accepted various grants from the United States
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the cost of portions of the
Jefferson City wastewater treatment works; and �c; u t

' WHEREAS, one of the conditions of EPA grants requires that the City of Jefferson adopt, 7„a`
implement, and maintain a user charge system for the project as approved '
by the Regional Administrator of the EPA; and ���`,

WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson recently authorized Revenue Bonds for the cost of t,r;
portions of the Jefferson City wastewater treatment works; and �.
` WHEREAS, one of the conditions of the Revenue Bonds requires that the City of
Jefferson will fix and maintain rates and make and collect charges for the
service and facilities of the system sufficient to provide for the payment of the
principal of and the interest on the bonds as they mature and accrue, and �•'� c;a

Sec. 29.123 Rates and Surcharges. '.
(A) All residential, commercial, industrial and governmental establishments shall be
charged for sewer service in accordance with the following rate table. The sewer,.
' service charge shall consist of a monthly fixed minimum charge plus a charge based
upon the cubic feet of water used per month.The charges shall become effective on the
dates listed in the table, and shall be applicable through the subsequent years until
