Section 1 of Ordinance No. 13164 is hereby amended to read as follows: „ Section 1 The City hereby authorizes the use of its t incinerator and related facilities to provide services for the cremation of private pets. The guidelines for the program shall included the following: a. Only pets received from veterinary facilities located within ¢ twenty five(26) miles of the corporate limits of the City will be ,f. accepted. b. The City reserves the right to reject any animal presented for '4- cremation. C. The City reserves the right to suspend or terminate the r program at any time. d. The initial fees for the service shall be as follows: r. Term. This Agreement shall be in force and effect from March 20, 2001, until and including December 31, 2001. It shall be renewable yearly. 2. Services. Term. This Agreement shall be in force and effect from March 20, 2001, until and including December 31, 2001. It shall be renewable yearly. 2. Services. individual pet cremations will be performed as a service to the veterinary community. Deceased pets will be received only from veterinary facilities. Deceased animals for cremation and proper documentation for each will be collected by the animal rescue division personnel. The remains of the animal cremated will be returned to the veterinary facilities in a temporary urn with the proper documentation. The fee to the veterinarians will include the cost of cremation and temporary urn. 3. Cremation Costs: • Animal Weight Veterinarian Price 0-40 lbs. $40.00 41-80 lbs. $45.00 81-110 lbs. $55.00 111-140 lbs. $65.00 Over 140 lbs. Must be negotiated 4.
