Notice of Public Hearings
Proposed Ordinance Nos. 7, 9, and 12
On April 19, 2023 at 4:00 p.m., the Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates will hold remote
(virtual only) public hearings on: Proposed Ordinance No. 7, To make appropriations for
Barnstable County's operating budget for the Fiscal Year 2024, including the operations of the
County Assembly, Executive branch, County agencies, boards, commissions, departments and
institutions and the maintenance of certain County functions, for interest, reserve funds and
debt service requirements of the County.; Proposed Ordinance No. 9, Adopting an Operating
Budget for the Dredge Enterprise Fund for the Fiscal Year 2024 beginning July 1, 2023 and
ending June 30, 2024; and Proposed Ordinance No. 12, Adopting an Operating Budget for the
Dredge Enterprise Fund for the Fiscal Year 2024 beginning July 1, 2023 and ending June 30,
2024 (Revised). The public hearing will be held via Microsoft Teams. The hearings will be open
to anyone wishing to testify or make public comment on the proposed ordinances. The full text
of the proposed drdinances has been electronically distributed to the Town Clerk of each town
in Barnstable County. They are also available on the Cape Cod Regional Government website.
Instructions on accessing the public hearings will be detailed on the Assembly of Delegates
Business ' Calendar for April 19, 2023 located at https:i,lwww.capecod.go_v;'county=
t:overnmentlmeeting-centerl. Written comments can also be emailed. to
owen.fletcher@capecod.gov before noon on the date of the public hearing. The County will
also stream the public hearing and Assembly meeting live streamed on the County YouTube
channel at httL)S:> www.youtube.com/c/BarnstabteCountvVideo.
