SECTION 2-4 PERTAINING TO A POLICY AGAINST DISCRIMINATORY PRACTICES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended b5� =
enacting a new Section 2-4 Policy Against Discriminatory Practices

It is the policy of the City of Jefferson to encourage fair treatment for and to foster mutual ;?'+ k;
understanding and respect among all persons regardless of race, color, ethnicity, religion,
national origin, ancestry, sex, disability, familial status, veteran status, or citizenship status,
or other forms of protected status established by state or federal law. It is the policy of the
r' City of Jefferson to discourage discriminatory practices against any person in the terms, arr;.')�={'r=5:"
conditions,or privileges in the provision of city services, access to city services and facilities, . E'
or in the investigation of violation of municipal ordinances, state and federal laws in
s connection therewith,because of race,color,ethnicity,religion,national origin,ancestry,sex,
