Sidewalk Variance
Dear Janice:
Per our discussion, please consider this letter the formal request of the developer,

011ie Mae Knipp, to waive the requirement for sidewalks along Missouri Boulevard for
Lot No, 4 of American Subdivision, Section Two. The area in question borders the right
V"
of way for MoDOT and existing conditions, to include guardrail, a lack of curb and
Jn�
gutter, terrain and the uncertainty of anticipated improvements to this state roadway make
it impractical to design and construct sidewalks. The developer is proposing to conform
to the requirements of Chapter 33, Subdivision Code of the City of Jefferson for
sidewalks along Wildwood Drive.
This variance request is being made in accordance with Section 33-9-D.3 of the
Code.

Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on Thursday, November , 1999, to provide
additional information as may be necessary.
