Non Work-Related Special Circumstances Leave. Regular full- who have completed two years of consecutive service with time employees the City, who become temporarily disabled to causes other than duty- 1...j cart cr=Yi related, may apply for special circumstances leave under the following conditions, and subject to the eligibility criteria established. A. Eligibility.The program is available to full-time employees who meet the following criteria: . (1) Applicants must have worked for the City for 24 ' r; consecutive months prior to the onset of the illness or ` injury. ' 2 Applicants must obtain and submit a physician's certificate stating the employee is unable to perform the material and substantial duties of employees own occupation or such other duties as are assigned by they . Program Limitations. Prior to receiving any benefit, the following criteria must be met: ^1 i ,,tr tt . •t :(!ray.!- y�S (1) Employee must have exhausted all accumulated sick leave, vacation leave, and compensatory time at the time special circumstances leave begins. + (2) At least thirty (30) calendar days must have elapsed t since the employee's last day worked. t` �1.
