The Agenda Meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret, preceding the Regular Meeting September 17, 2020, was held
September 3, 2020, at approximately 6:00 p.m. remotely, via telephone
call -in.
The following were noted present:
Mayor Daniel J. Reiman
Councihnember Vincent Bellino
" Jorge Diaz
" Derails DiMascio
" Ajmar Johal
" Randy Krum
" Susan Naples
Also noted present were Carmela Pogorzelski, Acting Municipal Clerk
and Robert J. Bergen, Esq., Law Director.
The meeting was opened with a moment of silent prayer and the
Pledge led by Councilmember Krum.
The 2020 Annual Notice was mailed to The Home News Tribune, The
Star Ledger and posted on the bulletin board on December 31, 2019.
Notice was published in The Home News Tribune and The Star
Ledger on January 7, 2020. Notice of tonight's meeting was sent to
the Home News Tribune, posted on the Borough's website, bulletin
board and the doors of the Memorial Municipal Building on August
25, 2020. Notice was published in the Horne News Tribune on August
27, 2020. All items being voted on tonight were posted on the
Borough's website, www.carteret.net prior to tonight's meeting.
Upon MMS &C by Councilmembers Krum and Diaz and unanimous
affirmative vote of the full membership present, the minutes of August
27, 2020 were approved as transcribed and engrossed by the Cleric.

A copy of each Resolution was posted on the Borough's website for
PUBLIC PORTION public review prior to the meeting in accordance with the Rules of
RESOLUTIONS / Council and upon MMS &C, by Councilmembers Diaz and Naples and
AGENDA ITEMS unanimous affirmative vote of the full membership present, the
& NEW BUSINESS meeting was opened for public input on all Resolutions /Agenda items
and any new business.
PUBLIC PORTION There being no comments or objections to the Resolutions /Agenda
CLOSED items or new business, upon MMS &C, by Councilmembers Diaz and
DiMascio and unanimous affirmative vote of the full membership
present, the meeting was closed.
RESOLUTIONS
RESOLUTIONS:
1. 420 -135 Authorizing Submission of Application for 2020
Municipal Engineering Project of the Year Award.
2. #20 -136 Property Tax Cancellation and Refund —100%
Disabled Veteran.
CONSENT AGENDA Mayor Reiman asked for a motion on the Consent Agenda.
Resolutions #20 -135 and #20 -136 were introduced by Mayor Reiman
and referred to the Council for action.

were Adopted. Upon individual Roll Call Vote, Councilmembers
Bellino, Diaz, DiMascio, Johal, Krum and Naples voted in the
affirmative.

Upon MMS &C, by Councilmembers Diaz and Bellino, all bills PAYMENT OF BILLS
appearing on the prepared list, properly audited and signed were
ordered to be paid. Upon individual Roll Call Vote, Councilmembers
Bellino, Diaz, DiMascio, Johal, Krum and Naples voted in the
affirmative.

Upon MMS &C, by Councilmembers Diaz and DiMascio, and
unanimous affirmative vote of the frill membership present, all reports
were ordered to be received and placed on file.
Mayor Reiman asked if any of the Councilmembers had anything to
add before adjourning the meeting. BUSINESS TO
