1. SPRING MOUNTAIN RANCH
After much discussion on the topic of the agreement, a motion
was made by Ted Whiteman to reflect the committee concerns about
the continued involvement of the developers and the Homeowners
association well after the time the city takes over the
maintenance and operation of the addition.
The pedestrian paths referred to in the agreement would be
conflicting with city ordinances already in place on existing 18
holes. Concerns were also raised about costs incurred by the
city to be paid back by Spring Mountain Ranch in an amount not
to exceed $15,000 for interim maintenance of the new 9 holes.
Craig Collins seconded and the motion carried.
2. CART STORAGE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
Craig Collins will be in contact with Tom Haynes in respect to
design and costs of different types of buildings. There is
concern as to where the funding is to come from.
3. CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
The committee decided that without dollar figures and an order
of priority they cannot make informed recommendations. Dave
Engen requested that Charles Denham bring to the next meeting
projects in an order of priority and monetary figures.
4. WINTER CONCESSION OPERATION
Lighting in the parking lot is of major concern if the clubhouse
is to remain open during winter months. The City Council make
one minor change to Jim Mann's proposal. The daily fee will be
raised from $125 to $150. Ted Whiteman moved to
recommend approval of the proposal including the change by
the City Council. Craig Collins seconded and the motion carried.
5. FINANCIAL REPORT
The committee requested that Jim Henderson attend the next
meeting to explain the figures in the year-end financial
statement, and identify for the committee the amounts available
for capital expenditures.
6. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MEMBERSHIP
Ted Whiteman moved that the $150 per year fee for membership be
taken from the golf fund. Craig Collins seconded and the motion
carried.
The meeting adjourned at 9:40 p.m.
Respectfully Submitted,
