AN ORDINANCE AMENDING, SECTION 34-27(D) OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, PERTAINING TO TRANSIT SYSTEM FARES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS: A�;.
Section 1. Section 34-27, Subparagraph (D), of the Code of the City of Jefferson,

r�N', Missouri, is hereby amended to read as follows:

D. The city, in respect to its citizens sixty(60){fry}—years of age and over who have helped to
build this community,shall issue senior golden passes to those citizens which will entitle their
holders to ride the cit fixed route buses.

ity: The senior golden passes will be issued by the city finance Kk,
department for a period of one year beginning November 1 to expire on October 31,for the rti,
., price of fifteen dollars ($15.00). To obtain such a pass,the applicant must submit proper
proof as to age and residency in the city. After one-half of the total potential useful life of '
-. the senior golden pass has expired,the finance department shall sell the passes for one-half
of nonnal cost for the remainder of the useful period.
' Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its passage and approval. `'`
