AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REPEALING AND
RESCINDING ORDINANCE #12733 RELATING TO ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE !
' PLAT OF COVINGTON GARDENS SUBDIVISION,SECTION TWO,A SUBDIVISION OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON AND APPROVING THE PLAT OF COVINGTON GARDENS
SUBDIVISION, SECTION TWO, A SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON.
1 WHEREAS, an error was discovered pertaining to the owner's certification of the final
subdivision plat accepted by Ordinance#12733, and
' WHEREAS, G.T.L.R. Development Corporation, L.L.G. Robert M. Rackers,
President/Secretary,owner of the real estate hereinafter described,having submitted to the City
Council a plat of said real estate:, being located in Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri, and
more particularly described as follows:
Part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and part of the Northwest
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter,all in Section 20,Township 44 North, Range 12 West,
a in the City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
said Section 20; thence N88°15'29"W, along the Quarter Quarter Section Line, 660.77
feet to the southeasterly corner of COVINGTON GARDENS SUBDIVISION, SECTION
ONE, as per plat of record in Plat Book 11, Page 932, Cole County Recorder's Office;
thence northerly, along the easterly boundary of said COVINGTON GARDENS

WHEREAS, it appearing that said plat has been fully and properly signed and
a+cr epteA by the owner of said subdivision, known and referred to as Covington Gardens s
Subdivision, Section Two, that all taxes have been paid, and that in all respects the '
! requirements of Chapter 445, RSMo, entitled "Plats" have been fully complied with by the
owner of said subdivision, and that in all respects the requirements of the Planning and Zoning
A Commission of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plats and subdivisions have been
complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF �
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance#12733 pertaining to the acceptance of Covington 3
Gardens Subdivision, Section Two is hereby repealed and rescinded;
SECTION 2. The plat of Covington Gardens Subdivision, Section Two, signed
..; I by GTLR Development Corporation, L.L. C. on August 12, 1998 and being situated within, the
corporate limits of the City of Jefferson,Missouri,as shown by the said plat attached hereto and
,- made a part of this ordinance, is hereby approved and accepted by the City Council of the City+
a of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
endorse acceptance of said plat hereon and to certify the approval
of the City of Jefferson. pp of said plat under the seal '
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its passage and approval.
