AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSFER OF THE LAND TO THE STATE OF MISSOURI FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY
RELATED TO THE ROUTE 179 PROJECT.

F 1 WHEREAS, The City of Jefferson, Missouri and the State of Missouri are cooperating to lid
extend Route 179 to better serve the motoring public; and
f:} ' WHEREAS, The City owns certain property which is needed for the proposed route.

J ..1 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to convey real property
owned by the City of Jefferson, Missouri, described in the deed marked "Exhibit A°
i. attached hereto, to the State of Missouri for the Highway 179 project.
Section 2. The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute any documents 4
necessary to carry out the intent of this ordinance and specifically to execute the deed l 4

`attached hereto as Exhibit A and a Waiver of Compensation. I,
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after is passage
and approval.
