AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, PERTAINING TO MISCELLANEOUS PROVISION
& OFFENSES BY ADDING A NEW ARTICLE XIII OF CHAPTER 18 OF THE CODE
PERTAINING TO OFFENSES AGAINST PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Article I!! Offenses Against Public Health and Safety) of Chapter 18
Miscellaneous Provisions&Offenses)of the Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is added
to read as follows:

t ' For the purposes of this article,the following words and phrases shall have the meanings
respectively ascribed to them by this section:
CC.a ntrolled substance. Any drug or substance included in sections 195.005 through and
including section 195.425,RSMo.
DrugjaaE& ern Ii All equipment,products and materials of any kind which are used,
intended for use,or designed for use,in planting,propagating,cultivating,growing,harvesting,
n manufacturing,compounding,converting,producing,processing,preparing,storing,containing, s
concealing, injecting, ingesting, inhaling, or otherwise introducing into the human body a
controlled substance or an imitation controlled substance in violation of sections 195.005 to 195.425,

kart Section 18-27T Possession of marijuana;penalty.
A. It is unlawful for any person to possess thirty-five(35)grams or less of marijuana.
B. Any person violating any provision of this section,upon conviction,shall be hued `
r not less than obe hundred dollars $100.00 nor more than five hundred dollars($500.00),or shall _.
yY be imprisoned for three(3)months,or shall be both fined and sentenced.

or otherwise introduce into the human body a controlled substance or an imitation controlled
substance in violation otsections 195.005 to 195.425,RSMo. {
B. Any person violating any provision of this section,upon conviction shall be fined
not seas than one hundred dollars(S100.00)nor more than five hundred dollars(5500.00),or shall
