AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
CHANGING, AMENDING, AND
MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY '
REZONING APPROXIMATELY 0.5 ACRE OF PROPERTY BEHIND 2003 AND 2007 SOUTHRIDGE I

DRIVE FROM RS-2 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO C-1 NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL.
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN THE ZONING CODE
RELATING TO ZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described real estate is rezoned from RS-2 Single Family
Residential to C-1 Neighborhood Commercial:
0.5 acre, more or less, in the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 23,
Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri; more
particularly described as follows:
From the southeast corner of the Northeast quarter of said Section 23; thence north along the
Section Line, 2079.5 links; thence west parallel with the north line of said section, 187.6 feet
to a point on the southerly right-of-way line of Southridge Drive, formerly Cole County Route
"C°, said point also being the northeast corner of a tract as described in B
p ook 216, Page 35,
Yf of the id p County Recorder's Office; thence south along the east line of said tract 209.75 feet
to the southeast comer of said tract and the POINT OF BEGINNING for this description; thence
S81°40'W along the south line of said tract and the west extension of said south line, 136.1
feet, more or less, to the west line of a tract as described in Book 243, Page 257, of the Cole I
County Recorder's Office; thence S201 VE along the west line of said tract in Book 243, Page
257, 100 feet to the the sautheast;comer the8eof;thencennorth along the east line
tract, 231.7 feet, m
of said tract, 100 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
