AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY FOR A,

NARCOTICS CONTROL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM GRANT AND AUTHORIZING l
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS, AMENDING THE 1997-98 ANNUAL
BUDGET WITH IN THE GENERAL FUND.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI AS
FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The Mayor, City Clerk, City Administrator and Police Chief of the
Jefferson City Police Department are hereby authorized to enter agrees ent with the
Missouri Department of Public Safety to participate in said program from July 1, 1998 to t
June 30, 1999. €

to the Jefferson City Police Department Budget Account the net amount $174,320.25 as �.
outlined in Exhibit 1 attached hereto, for a Missouri Department of Public Safety narcotic
grant.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the
. date of its passage and approval.
