AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE PLAT OF COVINGTON GARDENS, SECTION ONE,A SUBDIVISION
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON.
WHEREAS, G.T.L.R. Development Corporation, Robert M. Rackers,
President/Secretary,owner of the real estate hereinafter described, having submitted to the
City Council a plat of said real estate, being located in Jefferson City, Cole County,
Missouri, and more particularly described as follows:
Part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 20,Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in
the City of Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of
said Section 20; thence S01°32'05"W, along the Quarter Quarter Section Line, 88.00
feet; thence N88°25'54"W, 131.84 feet; thence N4°11'17"W, 250.39 feet; thence I
N01°49'26"E, 146.58 feet; thence N47°17'26"E, 196.40 feet; thence N01°49'26"E,
777.54 feet;thence N01 015'30"E, 60.01 feet; thence NO2 004'21"E, 149.29 feet to the
northerly line of said Section 20; thence S88°21'51"E, along the northerly line of said
Section 20, 152.99 feet to the northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of said Section 20;thence S87 037'58"E, along the northerly line of said Section
20, 752.26 feet; thence S02 004'21"W, 206.59 feet; thence N87°55'39"W, 57.91 feet;
thence S02°04'21"W, 279.58 feet; thence S87 055'16"E, 25.00 feet; thence
S02 004'44"W, 339.41 feet; thence S01°25'08"W, 60.00 feet; thence S02°04'54"W,

southerly line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 20;
thence N88'1 5'29"W,along the southerly line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of said Section 20, 722.74 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing in all 28.59 acres.
WHEREAS, it appearing that said plat has been fully and pr,-iperly signed and
accepted by the owner of said subdivision, known and referred to as Covington Gardens
Subdivision, Section One, that all taxes have been paid, and that in all respects the
requirements of Chapter 445, RSMo, entitled"Plats"have been fully complied with by the
owner of said subdivision, and that in all respects the requirements of the Planning and
Zoning Commission of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plats and subdivisions
have been complied with.

;+ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The plat of Covington Gardens Subdivision, Section One, being and
situated within the corporate limits of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as shown by the said
plat attached hereto and made a part of this ordinance, is hereby approved and accepted
x
by the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
endorse acceptance of said plat hereon and to certify the approval of said plat under the
seal of the City of Jefferson.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
