AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,MISSOURI,AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY FOR A NARCOTICS CONTROL
ASSISTANCE PROGRAM GRANT AND AUTHORIZING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF
FUNDS,AMENDING THE 1996-97 ANNUAL BUDGET WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor,City Clerk,City Administrator and Police Chief are hereby authorized
to enter an agreement with the Missouri Department of Public Safety for a Narcotics Control
Assistance Program grant from July 1, 1997 to June 30, 1998.
Section 2. There is hereby supplementally appropriated within the General Fund to the f
Police Department Budget Account the net amount$254,134 as outlined in Exhibit 1 attached
hereto,for a Missouri Department of Public Safety narcotics grant.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its f
passage and approval.
