RESCINDING SECTION 1 B OF ORDINANCE#11351 AND SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE j
#12157 RELATING TO THE CHANGING, AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING w
MAP OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, OF 2,0 ACRES
(APPROXIMATELY) LOCATED 250 FEET NORTH OF MISSOURI BOULEVARD AND }
EAST OF AND ADJACENT TO THE NORTHERLY EXTENSION OF BLAIR DRIVE BY
RESCINDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF PUD PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT AND REINSTATEMENT OF THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF RA-2
MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL .
WHEREAS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 35-86.1, JEFFERSON CITY ZONING
CODE, AMENDMENT OF THE CHAPTER, IT APPEARS THAT THE DEVELOPER OF
I A REZONED DISTRICT DID FAIL TO BEGIN CONSTRUCTION TO CONFORM TO THE
NEW DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION WITHIN A PERIOD OF THIRTY (30) MONTHS
FOLLOWING THE APPROVAL OF SAID DISTRICT BY THE COUNCIL;AND
WHEREAS, THE REZONING OF THE SUBJECT PROPERTY TO C-2 GENERAL
COMMERCIAL WAS APPROVED BY ORDINANCE#11351 SECTION 1 B, ON JANUARY
9, 1990;AND

WHEREAS,THE REZONING OF THE SUBJECT PROPERTY TO PUD PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT WAS APPROVED BY ORDINANCE#12157 ON SEPTEMBER 19, 1994;
1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The rezonings approved under Ordinance #11351,Section 1B from
RA-2 Multiple Family Residential to C-2 General Commercial,and and Ordinance#12157
i from C-2 General Commercial and PUD Planned Unit Development, be rescinded, and that
RA-2 Mulitple Family Residential zoning be reinstated on the following described real
estate:
Beginning at a point on the northerly right-of-way line of old U.S. Highway 50
(Missouri Boulevard),which is 735.50 feet westerly from the east line of said
Section 11 (measurement made along the northerly right-of-way line of old
U.S. Highway 50); thence north parallel with the east line of said quarter
section, and along the easterly line of a tract conveyed to Jacob W. Meller
and wife by Warranty Deed of record in Book 80, Page 294, Cole County
Recorder's Office, 250 feet to the beginning point of this description; thence
S88031'W, parallel with the north line of old U.S. Highway 50, 225 feet;

thence N4 0191W, parallel with the east line of said quarter section, 15 feet;
thence S881311W, parallel with said north line of old Highway 50, 117.5 feet
to the east line of Blair Drive North; thence norther) along the

east line in an easterly direction to a point on the southerly line of William '
Street which is 265 feet northerly(N5°00'W)of the point of beginning;thence I

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,will hold a public hearing on July
7, 1997 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber of the John G. Christy Municipal Building, 320
East McCarty Street, to consider the following:

Rescission of zoning of approximately 2.0 acre tract of land located 250 feet north of
Missouri Boulevard and lying immediately to the rear of 2102, 2106 and 2108 Missouri
Boulevard and east of and adjacent to the northerly extension of Blair Drive from PUD
Planned Unit Development to RA-2 Multiple Family Residential. ,
