ORDINANCE NO,
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING, AND
MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY
REZONING APPROXIMATELY SIX ACRES OF LAND LOCATED IN THE CAPITOL CITY INDUSTRIAL
PARK IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF THE COVINGTON GARDENS SUBDIVISION AND EAST OF
LONDON WAY FROM RS-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO M-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL.
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN THE ZONING CODE RELATING
TO ZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described real estate is rezoned from RS-1 Single Family Residential
to M-1 Light Industrial:
Approximately six acres of land located in the Capitol City Industrial Park immediately north of the
Covington Gardens Subdivision and east of London Way.
Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 17,Township 44 North, Range
12 West, Cole County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the
southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 17; thence
S85°30'00"W, along the Section Line, 1311.75 feet to the east line of a 70 foot wide Public Street
r� Right-of-way known as London Way as per Quit-Claim Dedication of Right-of-way described in
Book.386, Page 157, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence N5°45'01"W, along the east line of
said Right-of-way, 200.05 feet;thence N85 030'00"E, 1310.08 feet to a point on the east line of the
Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the aforesaid Section 17; thence S601349 E,
along the Quarter Section Line, 200.09 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing 6.02
' Acres.
From RS-1 Single Family Residential to M-1 Light Industrial.
